Glad Poddy and Scottie had such a nice get-together, along with LTL - Yep, Jason is lucky to have such amazing women as his fans! And glad the soup is helping the poor nauseated little mother-to-be. "This too shall pass!" - very true with pregnancy woes!

Well, I take the subway and they aren't blocking off pedestrians from going around the theater (subway station is next to the theater), so it shouldn't be a problem - although Mr ML usually parks near the subway and gives me a ride home (the block and a half - LOL!), and he won't be able to do that tonight - NOT because I'm so old and feeble and can't walk that far (although some days, that's true) but because if he beats me home, he'd have to walk the dog instead of me! Isn't that just the laziest thing? Well, that's him. Although I can't complain, as I got out of dogwalking after work both Monday and Tuesday because various people were home early for different things. Love the dog, but walking him is a lot of work (especially if your legs aren't so good). sigh.

Yep, it's really U2! It was on the front page of the paper today and photos of the outside of the theater. I know where we live is the hippest town in the world, LOL, but still pretty amazing such a world-famous huge band decided to do a little concert here (theater has ~900 seats). It was a beautiful old vaudeville theater. We did Bye Bye Birdie there! They kept the main stage (show movies) and build several other little theaters in the same building, so it's mainly a movie theater, but they still have live shows and lots of bands on the stage. So bands, band buses, equipment etc parking behind the theater isn't that unusual, but this band has SO MUCH STUFF! Two giant 18-wheelers and some other trucks as well. Totally blocked off the road back there.

Oh well, it's just tonight and then they'll be gone. I can't say that I know a single U2 song though, as famous as they are.

Rainy and gloomy today - maybe it will make them feel at home (like Ireland). Although I'll take rain over snow any day!

Oh, gosh, was 'Castle' on at 10 and I didn't know and I missed it? What did you think of it, Wen? Nathan Fillion is such a cutie.

I was so annoyed, we all went in to sit down and watch the 'Mentalist' last night, and my cousin called to chat about Passover, and she talked for half an hour and I missed half the show. Oh well, it's not like it's my favorite show, and not like I talk to this cousin more than once a year. Her dad always leads the Passover seder but she's not sure he'll be up to driving up this year (he had surgery recently) and she's too busy to go pick him up. So we might go get him! Love that uncle (my dad's brother) and would love to see him - but it depends if he feels up to it or not. Mr ML said he'd take a day off and drive to Connecticut to fetch the Uncle. Sounds like a fun trip!

LTL knock em dead with that presentation! (Well... not literally)
