Hey everyone. The following are some extra/new rules for the board regarding Double Posting and Bashing, since they are two of the most problematic things on this board. We expect everyone to obey them. Please read and respond to let us know that you have read and understand these new rules.

Double Posting and Thread Bumping
Official Fan Forum Rules state:

• Do not bump threads, or post solely to increase your post count. This is called “star posting,” and doing it can result in the loss of posting privileges. Also, don’t post sequentially on a thread (meaning don’t post right after yourself) just edit your first post if you have something to add to what you originally said.

DOUBLE/TRIPLE POSTING:
This is also against the general FF rules. And we prefer you try NOT to double/triple or even more, post in a row. However, there are exceptions, such as when FF or your computer is running slow and freezes or times out on you and accidentally puts more than one post through, we understand you can't control that. And if there's a thread which hasn't been posted in for a while and you'd like to add to it with new information, then you can post. But other than that, please do NOT double or triple post.

THREAD BUMPING:
As for Thread Bumping... it's the same as the rule for Double/Triple Posting. The only time we will allow Thread Bumping is when a thread is at the end and you want to get a new thread started. Otherwise, don't do it!

Bashing
Official Fan Forum Rules state:

With that said, please abide by the following rules:

Don't go into any thread that you are not a shipper of and know that you will not like what you will most likely read there. If for some reason you do have a problem about a discussion in one of these threads, PLEASE PM me or Lindsay about the issue. We don't want to see the issue taken to your shipper thread and being discussed. It only causes problems.
Absolutely no bashing of other posters or fanbases
Absolutely no bashing of actors/actresses
We don't want bashing of any kind when it comes to characters on the show, but we realize that it will happen no matter what in every thread. With that said, we have decided as long as the bashing is not too excessive, meaning anything more than just nicknames for characters outside of the anti threads, we won't say anything. If we get complaints however, even the nicknames will be banned. So be warned.
