| Trent Trent understood. He thought in more ways than one that he could change the world too. But little did he know that he would be recruited to work for the other side too. He loved being a cop, but the thrill of working for the mob just gave him the biggest adrenaline rush and made him feel like he could pretty much make his own laws instead of enforcing them. He nodded as she said that she had done things that she wasn't proud of. So did he. Working for Chase didn't ease his conscience one bit. It's the ultimate betrayal to his lawful colleauges, but he can't bring himself to stop. He loves his double life and he can't count the people he's duped on one hand, heck not even on two hands or even two hands and two toes anymore, if you want to get that literal about it. Being a cop puts those thoughts on the back burner and give back to the community, since he's having so much fun taking back things too much.
"Yes it does," he replied. "And let's just say that I feel the same way about being a cop too." he added with a nod. |
