After Kate left him and Tess, Basitan stayed around for a little bit ti keep his big sister company. She, after all, had come solo and he didn't want her to be alone all night while he was off having the time of his life with Lainey. He could hold off a little while then go find her.

He felt bad for Tess being there alone after all she had been through. Granted, he wasn't around for all of it, but he had heard every detail of it from her and he felt so bad for her. If he ever came in contact with that slug of an ex husband of hers, he would not hesitate to kill the man. He wasn't usually a violent man but when the situation called for it, as this did with one of his sister's getting hurt, he would do what he had to. The man would pay if he ever met him. He had no doubt about that.

"You don't have to sit here with me all night, you know" Tess started, looking over at her little brother, who was sitting across from her at a table. She reached out and grabbed her glass of wine, taking a sip of it before she contined. "I'm sure you have better things to do"

"Are you kidding? There's no on else I'd rather spend the night with than -- " Bastian stopped when she saw the look Tess was giving him and he chuckled a little bit. "Alright you got me. I could spend time with my lady but I feel bad that you -- "

"Don't feel bad for me, little brother. Ever. I hate that. Seriously, go be with your girlfriend. I'll be fine here by myself. I'm a big girl, I can be alone by myself and be happy about it. I don't always need to be with someone" Tess insisted, waving a hand at him as if she was dismissing him from his duties as her babysitter for the night.

"Alright alright if you insist. I'll be around if you need me" Bastian stood up, pulling out his phone as he did so. He leaned over and gave Tess a kiss on the forehead then he headed out of the ball room while texting Lainey to meet him somewhere.

He still felt bad leaving Tess to sit by herself, but the thought of seeing Lainey slowly made the guilt go away. After texting her instuctions to meet him in the south hallway, he moved down the hallway himself until he found a door to a vacant room that he could go into.

Entering, he wasn't too sure what room he was actually in. It looked like a den of sorts or something. He didn't really care either way what it was. There was no one in there which made it the perfect room for them to meet in. There was even a couch that they could comfortably sprawl out on. It couldn't be any better than it was. Now all he had to do was wait for Lainey.

He kept the door open just a little bit and when he saw her pass by, he reached out and grabbed her. He pulled her into her the room and pushed her against the door to shut it, his lips pressed up against hers. It had been days since they last saw each other and his lips ached for hers. His lips weren't the only thing that ached for her.

He didn't respond to her question, he just smirked and put his hands on either side of her as their bodies pressed together after she pulled him closer to him. He deepened their kisses and slipped his tongue out to tease her bottom lip, his hands moving up and down her gold dress. It wasn't long before one was slipping under it, running along the inside of her thigh. She looked good in the dress but she would look even better out of it. He knew that for a fact.

Tess watched Bastian walk off, a bit of a smile coming to her face as she shook her head a little bit. Even though Bastian had grown up, he was still the sweet kid she remembered him as. Whenever something happened to either her or Kate, he was always right by their side to comfort them or keep them company. Usually, it was him by her side because often she would cry over something their father said to her or something simular.

Their father was always insulting his 'mistake child'. Not a day went by that he didn't say something degrading to her. Basitan always made an effort to try and make her feel better on the bad days when it really effected her. She was positive that he would have done the same for her if he had been around when everything with Evan happened. He wouldn't have left her side. It would have been nice to have him around during that time. It was horrible going through it alone.

Now that her siblings were around she wouldn't have to go through anything alone anymore. She was happy about that because she was tired of going through things alone. It was rougher than she would ever admit.

When Basitan was out of eye shot, her eyes roamed the room behind her red mask to see if she spotted anyone she knew. Her eyes fell on Carver standing alone by the side of the room and she smirked a little bit. He looked so good in a tux. Of course, he looked good wearing anything. As she got up and wondered over to him, she wondered how he looked without any clothes. He had a girlfriend but she didn't feel any shame thinking that. She was only human, after all and a single one at that. She was allowed to think of a man without his clothes on when she hadn't gotten any in a while. She wouldn't remember the last time she had sex. It was rather depressing.

"You clean up nice" She commented when she got to him. She brought up her glass after she spoke and took a sip of it before she spoke again. "I take it you didn't leave your little girlfriend yet?" She asked, as she lowerd the now empty glass and put it on a passing by trey while grabbing another one at the same time. It wouldn't hurt to have one or ten more. "Why don't you leave her already and be with a real woman?" She was in a flirtacious mood that night. Wine sometimes put her in that mood and tonight was one of those cases.
