True. But it would have been great to see Liz come clean to Max about FMax ON SCREEN. Seeing Max and Liz have an honest to goodness talk about her lies and manipulation was definitely needed. Ron Moore said Liz told Max about FMax over the summer after Departure, so Max did find out the truth.

She most certainly did. Liz told Tess that she knew Max and offered to help her with him, but it backfired anyway. Then later Liz cut Max deep with that spiel about Romeo and Juliet and wanting to have a normal life with kids. Liz didn't get joy in lying to and hurting Max and she told FMax to go to someone else. Max and Liz needed trials and tribulations to make them stronger, but I believe their future selves were putzes. FMax should have just went to Isabel and Michael from the get-go.
