Jin: Sun, look at me. I love you but I don't want to elope with you.
Sun: It's the only chance we have.

Sun: You're saying that now because you don't know my father.
Jin: I know me.
Sun: It's beautiful.
Jin: I wish it were a diamond. Someday it will be.

Jin: I'm sorry.
Sun: I am too. You don't have to go.
Jin: No, don't you understand, Sun. I'm in this place because I'm being punished.
Jin: I made you suffer. You don't deserve any of this.
Jin: I have to go because I'm going to save you. Stay with Jack. He'll keep you safe.
Sun: Who will keep you safe? I love you
Jin: I'm so sorry
Sun: It's okay.
5. The Engagement (1x06)
Jin: Well, your father...your father gave permission!
Sun: Don't ever do that again! How did you?
Jin: I reasoned with him.
Jin: After a year of management training, and a year of work at the factory, we'll have all the money we need.
Sun: You are going to work for my father?
Jin: It's the right thing to do.
[Jin opens an engagement ring box with a big diamond in it.]
Sun: You can't afford this.
Jin: I can now.

Jin: Do I have to?
Sun: What about our honeymoon?
Jin: Sun, you know I want to. It's just that right now I want your father so see I'm committed.

Jin: In 6 months -- after my management training is all done.
Sun: I'm just as important as his car company.
Jin: I promise -- we'll have the honeymoon -- we always dreamed of.
