| Jo even said that Ginny's crush was a type of hero worship because she truly didn't know who he was. But once they became friends she grew to understand what the real Harry was like. And for his part Harry wasn't aware of how similar they both were until Ginny began to act more like herself around him. They weren't ready to get together before it happened.
