Yeah, I don't think Bonnie was expecting H/G and it really took her by surprise.

I thought much the same as CHH's friend after I read HBP. After I finished the book, the two actors I remember thinking about were Bonnie and Rupert, because both would have to do quite a bit of kissing.

Going by things she said during the OotP press, she did repeat the thing about being surprised by it, but you could tell she had grown to really like it.

You know, Bonnie pretty much predicted what would happen with Ginny there.

She wanted H/G to develop more, but she knew Ginny would also have to "let Harry do his stuff"

and then the six of them did shine through because N/G/L all brought the DA back. Pretty good, Bonnie.
