| Okay. Seventy answers at once. I'll tell you all anything you want to know, just make sure you want to know it. The show will not end with J.D. running to the airport to stop Elliot. That is a hint. I'm weeeeaaaakkkk. Season 8, by my informed guess, will begin in early January. Webisodes (that we actually worked on, seriously, they're pretty funny) will debut before that on ABC. They highlight the new interns/cast as well as feature all our regulars. I read the last Harry Potter book cover to cover at one in the morning (I bought it at midnight). Courteney was/is funny, and is a cool broad as well. I respect everyone's obsession, as I am obsessed with shows that I watch to a disturbing level. I'm vibing on DEXTER, and Diners Drive-ins and Dives (on the cooking channel) right now. Season NINE... Look, here's the deal. I've been writing this show for eight years, and Zach is definitely leaving. That being said, if the show does well, I happen to think we have as strong an ensemble as anyone. Sarah, Johnny C., and Donald could all have their own shows. The reality of network television is that there are maybe three comedies on right now. And 110 very cool people work at SCRUBS without a lot of other new jobs out there. If ABC wants to keep it going, and I can figure out a creatively satisfying way to go on (Frasier from Cheers, B.J. and Charles for Frank and Trapper John, etc) I will try to make it happen. But of course I would be involved, I'm a control freak. Plus, the head writer(s) would have to be someone like Garret and Neil (awesome writers) who helped me run the show for eight years. There. Big funsies. Thanks for making me feel like all the work is worth it.
