| Oh, yeah, definitely! 
They were both a little bit more adult in those seasons - Cordy was less bitchy but still with an edge, and Buffy had realised that though life does suck sometimes it's better than no life at all.
And they were both the kind of girls who would sacrifice themselves for the people they loved  __________________ I simply gotta march, my heart's a drummer
