I am hoping it will be as successful as the new incarnation of Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who.

I loved the old 'V' while I grew up as a kid in the 80's. Also, did you know that the original creator of 'V' is creating a spin off of his original creation? The 'V' you spoke of Jerry, is an adaption by someone else - just how in the same light Cupid is also being remade by two separate people/companies/entities at the same time. But in this case, one of these V's is a remake erm, sorry *ahem* "Re-imagining" and the other is a continuation of the original story written by the original 'V' writer/creator set 25 years after the original.
