I'm watching "Child Is the Father to the Man" now and it's amazing the things left out in discussion. Like, when Dylan gets that call just before Kelly freaks out on him and they hug, the boy fears that his life is at stake! And there are obligations that he just can't tell Kelly or involve her with. But she fears he's slipping away, so he comforts her. When Dylan lets out that, "Oh, god ...", statement just before the hug, it's basically a mixture of regret that he just got angry with her and the fact that his life may be threatened but he can't tell her this. So, so far from the BDK triangle.
