| Quote: They just both brought out the best in each other, in each couple. I don't see how people can't see that sometimes | I so agree. Both Angel and Buffy were complete with Spike and Cordy. I mean when Angel was with Buffy she never brought him out bring him to become more human and yet still being a vampire... she didn't know how to balance it out.
Whereas when he was with Cordy she brought out human side to Angel while still making sure Vampire is who he was. She called him a Manpire, a Vampire whose cuddly, I mean she balanced both qualities of Angel out.
When it came to Buffy... same thing... Angel didn't know how to balance out the whole Slayer regular girl thing. Especially since he was a vampire. That's mostly what they kept going on about how he was a Vampire she was a Slayer... they should be mortal enemies. But when Spike came along he balanced her out too.
He showed Buffy what it meant to be a slayer... whether you were in love with a vampire or not... it's the same. you're who you are and you have to face the fact. Spike completely showed Buffy a new side to life to where she finally became truly happy with who she was. __________________ I think essentially the meaning of life is probably the journey
