Colin Hanks has joined the cast of the untitled Anna Faris project for Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison.

Also joining the movie are Monet Mazur, Kiely Williams of the Cheetah Girls, All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter, Owen Benjamin, Rachel Specter and Beverly D'Angelo.

The script, by "Legally Blonde" scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, centers on a Playboy bunny (Faris) who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on a college campus.

Hanks is the male lead in the film, playing Faris' love interest.

Mazur ("Torque") will play an evil Playboy bunny, while Williams will plays a member of the lame sorority, one who suffers from extreme shyness and communicates via notes and texts. Ritter is a frat guy who is more than he seems, while Benjamin is a butler seduced by Mazur. D'Angelo ("Entourage") is the house mom of the bitchy sorority, of which Specter ("Lonely Hearts") is a part.

Shooting is under way in Los Angeles, with Fred Wolf directing.

Sony's Sam Dickerman and Adam Milano are overseeing for the studio, while Heather Parry, who brought the project into Happy Madison, is shepherding for the shingle.

Hanks next will be seen starring in "The Great Buck Howard." His credits include "King Kong" and "Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny."

He is repped by CAA and attorneys Alan Hergott and Eric Brooks.

Or maybe they just figure the target audience for this movie is sleazy teenage boys and all they are gonna care about is the half naked girls
