Some reporter said that Palin has foreign policy experience because Alaska is near Russia/Japan, etc......
Guess who repeated this very same ridiculous theory? Mrs. McCain!
ABC News
about a 3rd of the way into the video is when she can be quoted as saying "remember Alaska's the closest part of our continent to Russia, so it's not as if she doesn't understand what's at stake here"

And it'll perpetuate the concern about Obama's experience. If some believe that Palin isn't qualified to be VP because of her lack of experience then what makes them think Obama is qualified to be President when others, including some Democrats like Clinton, believe he lacks experience as well.
The difference is Obama was ELECTED where as Palin was chosen by McCain & his staff after what 2 meetings? If I asked you a year ago who Obama was I think you'd have some idea. But if I asked you who Palin was?
Exactly!
McCain may have stolen the spotlight from Obama's speech, but the hoopla will be over soon. Then the realization that he not only alienated his already dwindling independent support, but he's also managed to energize the Hillary supporters to go AGAINST him at the same time will set in. By picking someone so young it also highlights the fact that McCain is so old. The risk far out weighs the reward with this pick IMO.
