Liberals are likely never going to vote for McCain or especially her. She's against abortion even in the case of rape and incest- she's publically stated on the record that she would force her own daughter to have a product of rape. So I don't think that's it. She was clearly a pick that would appeal to the opposite- to the far right conservative. And all the things coming out about her now- the Trooper scandal, the fact that she didn't know what the VP job was a month ago, her once supporting the Bridge to Nowhere, her former reliance on that earmark system, her lack of knowledge about the Pledge of Allegiance or about issues regarding Iraq, her links to the Alaskan Independence Party...they didn't vet her. It's as simple as that. There's evidence that they are vetting her NOW, AFTER she got picked. And this is McCain's first potential Presidential decision, and he looks utterly incompetent. Biden is a very pragmatic pick on Obama's part- Palin is a clear hasty ploy on McCain's.

Which, all the better for ME. LOL. Obama/Biden 08!
