| It's sad that people protest outside premieres when they're trying to get people so excited about movies. However, I absolutely loathe the "r" word. Despise, disgust. Any synonym you have, that's how I feel. My mom has taught special ed for, well, let's just say she's got two years left before retirement and she's not retiring early... For a word that used to categorize those kids that I've known and been around my whole life that are practically like family, it's degrading to them that the word gets used in the most ridiculous instances. I'm thankful that my friends don't say it around me. Even if they say it elsewhere, they're pretty aware when I'm there. |
