In season 2, Jack helped Pacey in Uncharted Waters, he noticed Mr. Witter's offenses weren't jokes as Dawson assumed, and he let Pacey catch the big fish and be the hero of the day.








Then Pacey defended Jack in the english class and although at the beginning Jack felt exposed he thanked Pacey at the end.
