I've never really thought about that. I agree, that was kind of weird. In S2 he was not only dating Andie, but he stood up to Mr. Peterson for him in a way. I'm not saying that Jack was obligated to befriend him because of those things, but you'd think it'd bring them together and be the beginning of a great friendship. It was in a way, just that we had to wait until S5 for the continuation of it. Or at least it felt that way.
I loved in S5 when Pacey was there for Jack when he was spiraling.
