| So, like I already promised on the Ollian thread, here are a few pics (sorry again for the bad quality) and my brief conversation with Thore at the VL beachvolleyball cup today
 Before the warm up
He was in a very good mood. Joked around with his team mates, stole the winner's cup and he played very passionately. He was so happy when they won their last match. At one point it seemed like he twisted his ankle but apparantly it wasn't that bad. He got back to his feet very quickly.
He was great with the fans and smiled a lot. Well, it's his job but he doesn't seemed to mind it. Ken, here's my brief exchange with him:
I said his name and finally got his attention.
Me: Could you write one for Ken? He's a big fan from New York.
He looked at me in surprise with his dazzling blue eyes.
Thore: Really? (In a no s hit kind of a way)
Me: Yeah, he would have loved to come here but his boss didn't give him some time off.
Thore: Too bad.
He handed me the signed card.
Me: Can I get a picture?
Thore: Sure.
One of the girls from the ARD team took a polaroid (it was a bad idea, I look awful in it)  I thought we were through when he started writing the next autograph so I left but he called after me: "Give my regards to Ken!"
You should really participate in this online chat thing. Say you're Ken from New York. They might remember your name 
Apart from his fascinating eyes and his perfect body Thore is really nice, handsome and charming - I guess you're not suprised. I got the impression that he's easy to talk to if you get the opportunity of having a conversation with him. OH, and he's great with kids. He played with the son of one of the photographers he's obviously friends with. Such an adorable boy. Once in a while he was responsible for changing the board for the counts and sometimes forgot to turn over the digits when the VL team lost a point or changed it in their favor when they didn't make the point. I don't think he did it deliberately but it was really sweet
