OMG now I know we're sisters! Joni has always been my favorite singer/songwriter. I could listen to her sing every day - all day. She sings to my heart, she's a goddess to me.

You can't imagine how she's affected me over the years. My husband shuts his ears when she sings though, I think he's just jealous. Have you seen the Masterpiece piece on her? I think it's shown every once in a while on the PBS station, it's fabulous.

Anyhoo, Happy Birthday (belated) Podmom! I'm glad you got to see your friends, and now that I know about that book I'll be sure to pick it up.

Wen - did Laine ever get a car? I was wondering about that.

ML - I saw that EW gave the new Twilight book a "D" but I'm glad that you at least thought it was good. Too bad that the review gave away almost the whole plotline...grrrrr...now I know what's going to happen. Very spoilerish review IMO.

Podmom - loved the thread start and the Jason as Santa pics. I esp liked Jason in the Santa hat. You fooled even me, I honestly thought he had a new gig! Very disappointed in him lately.

Not him exactly, but the way he's become invisible. I just hope he's happy wherever he is and whatever he's doing.
