Hey all!!!
How is everyone?
I'm ok but I had a few busy days.
We had the Av 9th fast (it's almost like Yom Kipur but we can watch TV and activate electricity). Anyway that one was hard. I was just so weak at the end of it and it took me quite a while to get over that. But I'm fine now.
Yesterday I met a few friends. We had a nice lunch (with their kids which was nice) and talked. It has been a while since we've done that so that was great.
And today my sister and I did the 1st thing you have to do before going on a vacation…. Wax! Usually my mom does that for us but we decided to do it alone this time and we did… and we're fine so all is well.
ML,
sounds like MLette wonderful at her job!
She is very responsible! And Sounds like she's great at managing that place.
I'm sorry to hear you're so sad about finishing the books.
But you can re-read them again whenever you feel like it.
But you're right it is kinda sad when you're finishing something you enjoy very much… like you're not sure you'll find something else to enjoy…
Hope you'll keep enjoying (re-reading the books) and that you'll find something new to love.
You're right! That's exactly the problem with my family! We don't really say we appreciate things… we just expect people to know that…
But thanks for saying that.
Maybe the fans think that if they say the ending wasn't too good the writer will write another book (to set the record straight
). But the most important thing is that you've enjoyed it!
Cold? Rain? Already? I guess fall/winter is getting you way…
we're still have a very hot weather. July-August are the warmest months over here… usually.
Sorry that it's getting cold over there… I hope it won't get too cold too fast.
I never noticed that about accents… I guess it's because over here most people sound the same… and even if they don't it's not something that draws to much attention (unless it's an American accent
).
I've been watching a little of the Olympics too. And I just love gymnastics too! Sometimes they do some beautiful things there. I wish I could have done half of what they do… I can't even stand on my hands… which is supposed to be simple.
I also love figure swimming and swimming. I don't watch it regularly but when I have the chance it's nice.
Yea all of those athletes who get to the Olympics invest a lot in their sports. It's admiring really… especially with the fact they usually start at an early age.
Good luck to your niece. I hope she'll find her place there. It must be exciting for her, to leave and go someplace far to school. But then it must be hard on her parents.
Wen,
happy to hear mom went home! I hope she'll leave you alone to relax for a little while.
You deserve some time off. Glad she's getting along at home alone.
Thanks for the kind words.
Coming here always busts up my self asteem.
podmaommy,
happy birthday to podad! And have a safe drive to OC! That's great that Liz and Walter to come and celebrate the birthday with you guys. Too bad Em couldn't come.
I have no idea if I get to post again before we leave to the Dead Sea (on Sunday) so if I don't I'll see you when I get back.
all
