The Dr Who two-part finale we got was pretty mind-blowing!  Brought back all the companions, Captain Jack etc. (I don't know if you're on the same season as the US tho.) Kind of sweet on Captain Jack at the moment (we're watching Torchwood Season 1 DVDs, then moving on to renting season 2). I'm going to read his autobiography  - will let you know if he's as in love with himself as everybody else seems to be. 
I like the opening Ceremonies of the Olympics too - will be all cool and Asian-themed I expect with fireworks and dragons and such. I remember the French one was very Circ du Sole-ish and avante garde. I like to see all the flags and costumes and people marching around with their proud faces (I like the 'national costume' part of Miss Universe competition too - giggle).
Might peek in at some gymnastics but probably will miss the whole thing! I'm a pretty huge sports avoider.  __________________ Jason B is #1 with me
