I expect the love triangle to end in a way that makes both guys look good. So I guess the one Kate is dating that particular week will sacrifice himself and she will end up with the other.
Another scenario I can think of is that Aaron is supposed to become the new island leader or the new Jacob. It has to be a Shepard, so Jack selflessly takes his place so that Aaron can leave again with Kate. She's devastated but will be consoled by Sawyer. Claire sits in the cabin wondering whether it wasn't such a good idea to ask Locke not to tell anyone about her. |
