Welcome to the 2nd Appreciation Thread of Buffy and Angelus  Everyone has it. Rarely do we have the luxury to face it, but know this:
it is always waiting and watching for the one
moment in time to emerge. What is it you wonder?
IT is the darkness that resides in us all.
For Buffy, night after night she is forced
to confront this darkness. At times she is triumphant.
At others, she is weak and succumbs to it.
Is it the demons and vampires that she battles
endlessly that bring it out of her you ask?
Yes and no.
For Buffy they are one in the same.
It is not a multitude of the unnatural that
calls it forth in the Slayer. No, my beloved,
it is one demon who forcibly makes Buffy Summers
acknowledge the darkness within. His name you ask?
Angelus.
A more seductive and sinful vampire
you will never encounter, but will secretly long to.
Thus these tales of their unholy, unnatural, and
unbreakable attachments to each other is made possible.
Simply put, my innocent one:

Angelus: Mrs. Summers, I need to talk to you.
Joyce: You're Angel.
Angelus: Did Buffy tell you about us?
Joyce: She told me she wants you to leave her alone.
Angelus: I-I can't. I can't do that.
Joyce: You're scaring her.
Angelus: You have to help me. Joyce... I need, I need to be with her. Y-you can convince her. You have to convince her.
Joyce: Look, I'm telling you to leave her alone.
Angelus: You have to talk to her for me, Joyce. Tell her I need her.
Joyce: Please, look, I-I just wanna get inside, okay?
Angelus: You don't understand, Joyce. I'll die without Buffy. She'll die without me.
Joyce: Are you threatening her?
Angelus: Please... Why is she doing this to me?
Joyce: I'm calling the police now.
Angelus: I haven't been able to sleep since the night we made love. . .I need her. I know you understand.
