I think my favorite anti-Djer was Pacey, hands down, lol. He's said the funniest anti-DJ quotes in the whole show. Even in season 2, when he wasn't in love with Joey. He was an anti-Djer, he knew something was really wrong between those two, he was a wise guy after all, lol.
Season 1:
Quote: Dawson: Pacey I know you're obsessed about with this little theory of yours, but the truth is I've never though of Joey in a romantic context. I've always thought of her as like a sister. I just don't think I could ever get past that. If Joey and I got together it would be, a little incestuos.
Pacey: So what you're saying is you don't want her but you don't want anybody else to have her either?

Season 2
Quote: Dawson: I accidentaly read something last night in Joey's journal.
*Pacey hands a flier to some girl*
Pacey: Want one of these?
Dawson: Quote. "I'm so sick of Dawson and his stupid horror movie. I wish I could tell him how terrible it is. How stupid, and putrid, and... it was awful."
Pacey: So what? At least she didn't tell you that the sight of you gives her dry heaves or that you're a self-centered, self-absorbed, *stapling another flier* selfish..
Dawson: Look, obviously she has opinions about me that she hasn't been honest about. She said I was a talentless dreamer with no cinematic future.
Pacey: *really angry and irritated* 'Kay. No offense, Dawson, but I don't think anybody cares.
Dawson: I care...Pacey. I mean, I could honestly use some advice here.
Pacey: Oh, you want some advice? How about this: your life isn't so interesting.
Dawson: *confused and surprised* What?
Pacey: You know, I am so sick and tired of hearing about you and Joey's boring little mini-dramas. I'm going to start tearing out my fingernails for relief. Get over yourself, Dawson. Deal.

Dawson: Do you really think a couple confused weeks means anything compared to the lifetime that we’ve had?

Dawson: (shakes his head) Answer my question, Pacey. Do you really think that you can compete with history?
Pacey: (sarcastically) Some history. Fifteen years of watching PG movies in your bedroom followed by another year-and-a-half of pretending to be grown-up only to drop each other at the first sign of crisis. That’s your history?? Come on, man. You call this woman your soul mate?

Dawson: You know, pace, I'm on... no sleep and about 26 hours' worth of driving.
Pacey: I'm serious. You gotta give that thing up. That thing that you guys do to each other, the heroes of bad timing. You've got to give that up. It's over.
Dawson: No, it's not.
Pacey: Aw, come on, Dawson. How many times are you gonna do this yourself? How many times are you gonna keep on coming back?

Pacey: Ooh, I don't know if healthy's the word I would use to describe their relationship. I mean, I'm all for "will they, won't they" finally getting their shot, but for 2 people to be that dependent on each other for their life's happiness is just--

Pacey: Or perhaps structurally unsound?
