Why Nate and Blair? What drew you to them?
Because they have angst-romance down to a tee. They fight for each other and wouldn’t mind changing things to make the relationship stronger. They know each other so well and are complete romantics at heart. They share a profound connection that goes beyond aesthetics or familial obligations, a love that has come about through years of nurturing and commitment. A love that some only see when they look closely.
I love NB because they’re so beautifully complex. There’s such an intense story behind their relationship and ten episodes in, we’ve still yet to really see the essence of NB. We’re starting to see the magic and the grand romance of these two but if the flashbacks are any indication, there’s a lot more to NB. I love them because I know that what they have is longterm and more will continue to unfold as Gossip Girl goes on. For NB it’s clear that they can never be anything other than lovers: it’s all or nothing. The feelings they share are too intense to just forget overnight.
What makes them different from other couples?
No matter what happens, through distance, time and wandering eyes; they’ll always find a way back to each other. Their love is so profound that in order to understand their relationship you have to dig deeper than the trivial on the surface. There is so much intensity and passion underneath their ‘comfortable’ love that they can never be “just friends”. This kind of love is quite rare now. They’re bringing back an old-fashion-once-in-a-lifetime-soulmates-forever-only-one-for-me type of love. What other couple has something like a pinned heart on the inside sleeve of a sweater as a symbol of their love?
What is your favorite Nate and Blair episode?
1x10 Hi, Society.
What NB moment can you watch over and over without getting sick of and why?
The NB!sex making love scene in 1x10.
I love this moment because it epitomizes what NB is all about. Their love doesn’t need many words and more often it’s the little things they do that show us how much they really love each other. For them, it’s all about body language. Something as simple and genuine as a smile epitomizes the sweetness of their love.
When they finally made love, it’s hard not to notice how connected they were. It wasn’t staged or stiff, rather it was two bodies becoming one, exploring each and every aspect of their renewed connection. It was romantic and slow: everything that NB is. NB have been together for so long and have fallen into a deep everlasting love and I saw that when they looked into each others’ eyes with such intensity and passion. The zoomed in pan movement of each touch and each kiss is symbolic of how powerful their connection was and how important this was to them. Every touch is significant to them and it wasn’t just sex, it was two people reaching that next level of intimacy.
How do you want them to end up?
Happily sailing around the world together. Nate openly showering his affections and undivided attention on the love of his life and Blair embracing the beauty of life and just living in the moment with Nate.
And somewhere down the road, married with lots and lots and beautiful NB babies <3
by - natt!   Why Nate and Blair? What drew you to them?
I always liked the idea of them being together their entire lives. Even though we haven't seen them together, it's obvious they've been through so much over the years, and clearly, whether or not anything was ever there between him and Serena, it was there between him and Blair first. Plus, you can really see that he loves her and that their relationship just took a slide. I think that's obvious in the flashbacks we got to see. They obviously have a connection, and I think if played out correctly, they could be the best love story on the show.
What makes them different from other couples?
What I figured when I first saw the show was that Josh was going to do the same thing he did on The OC. Which means no beginning couples are endgame. But though Nate was initially played out as the one that didn't really care, it's obvious they mean so much to each other. They're really childhood sweethearts, but they're more than that. They aren't just some couple put on the show to cause drama between Blair and Chuck or Nate and Serena. They're there to show us that sometimes people really can be together forever. It just takes a little rekindling of a flame.
What is your favorite Nate and Blair episode?
I'd say either "Hi, Society" or the flashback scenes of them in episode 1.09.
What NB moment can you watch over and over without getting sick of and why?
Obviously their final scene in "Hi, Society", but also the "Goodbye, Sweetheart" scene, the scene where they were on the bed, and Nate put his arm on her shoulder, the elevator kiss, and of course, the scene where Nate commented on her pin! Oh, also, the scene where they were walking away from each other but staring from afar.
How do you want them to end up?
Together. I'm a CB fan too, but I really want them to be endgame. I want there to be tons of drama that makes them realize they were really meant to be together all along.

And darling, then I read again. Right from the start
Love letters straight from your heart Sunlight falls in glittering arcs of golden light across the beautiful boy as he sits at the table, fresh paper spread before him, a pen poised in his hand as he absently chews on his bottom lip, lost in concentration.
He muses, sighing softly, shaking his head, blue eyes grown dreamy and contemplative as he lets his thoughts linger on the girl he loves, seeing in his mind the waves of her dark silken hair, her shining chocolate-velvet eyes and the luscious ruby of her lips... and he smiles.
Nodding to himself, he exhales gustily, tapping his pen nervously against the paper for a moment, trying to think how to begin... how to begin spilling the secrets of his heart – something he is unaccustomed to and uncomfortable with – truth be known. Yet, deep within the well of his own psyche he knows what he needs to do. He feels it in his gut. He needs to do this to secure his love, to secure his future, to be the man he needs to be, to be the man Blair needs him to be, the man she has always wanted him to be and, at one time, believed him to be... the man he knows he can be, if only she will give him another chance.
And so he lifts the pen and smiles a little to himself at how strange and surreal this seems – this sudden desire to express himself, to let Blair know exactly how he feels... ♥ Blair,
I've been working this out in my head – what I wanted to say to you – for some time now, but it's funny how something in your head seems so different when you commit it to paper. It never comes out how you want it to sound, but still... it's important to say, and so, okay, I'm going to try this.
Blair, the thing is... I miss you. I miss us.
It's like a whole part of my life is missing when you're not there. You're such a part of me and my life now that not having you in it is like missing an arm, or no,... actually, it's like missing my heart. I know I've never been overly demonstrative with you – never letting you know how I truly feel, and I'm sorry about that. It's just, well, that's the way I am, and I'm not trying to make excuses because I know that's not a good way to be - to keep everything inside, but it's the only way I know how to be. It's like I have all these thoughts in my head but I never know how to express them because it's too much, and so I just bottle them up inside me, trying to just deal with things, deal with my feelings all on my own.
The thing is though, I want to change. That's why I'm writing you this. I want to be the man you need me to be because you deserve that. I know you need me to tell you how I feel.
So... how I feel... okay, I feel love, Blair. I love you. I've never told you that enough. I guess I just always assumed that you knew it because you've always been able to see into me like no one else, but I know I should have told you more often. I know you need to hear it and I'm sorry for not saying it every time I feel it which is every day, every moment, because I do love you. I always have, Blair. You're so beautiful, so elegant and classy, and you're strong – stronger than you give yourself credit for – and you're so honest, so unafraid of being who you are. I look at you, the way you go after things and try to make things work, and you never give up, and I really admire that, and I don't think I've ever told you that, but I do.
I think one reason I admire that is because I give up way too easily. If things get hard, I just step off. I don't need the stress. I've always been cool with that... until now. And... now, I can't give up on us, Blair, I just can't. I know it'll be hard but I want to work at it. I swear I do. I want to be with you. I need to be with you.
I know I'm asking you to forgive me for a lot. Blair, I'm so sorry for hurting you. I was weak and gave into temptation and it was really wrong of me. All I can do is tell you that I'm truly sorry. It won't happen again because it's you I love. You're the girl I want to be with, the girl I want to give my heart to, Blair... just you.
Please tell me that we can at least try to work things out, that we can try to be together again. I love you so much and I miss you and I need you.
