I love how she acts with him when she is drunk, its way too cute! and he is always here for her in those time, not judging just being careful with what she does!
I think at the end Dawson understood, i hope for him at least!  i mean she picked Pace all the time over Dawson so i think he got the message. And they both call together at the end so i guess he is OK with it after those years! 
and they def look really happy, all the time they are together its only  __________________ No one else will have me like you do,
