In case you didn't know, Kobe was extremely busy today as he made his way around West LA.
He started his day at his 2nd annual Kobe Basketball Academy, which opened today on the campus of Loyola Marymount University. Over 500 kids are participating in this year's camp, and Kobe is at the camp every day teaching the Triangle and Princeton offenses as well as the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense.
After overseeing events at camp, he jetted over to Undefeated in Santa Monica to be a part of the new "McFly" Hyperdunk release. Kobe personally met with the first 10 people who were in line to buy the shoes (those dudes were camped out all night long!) and he shared the event with an exact replica of the DeLorean from Back to the Future.
Next, KB stopped by our offices here in Venice to check out the operation. He was sporting a new Kobe Basketball Academy t-shirt and the McFly Hyperdunks, and he spent about 30 minutes talking with us and checking out the work space.
He and his security crew headed out to get some food, but KB's work isn't done yet. He's heading back to LMU tonight to participate in scrimmage with Carlos Boozer, Ron Artest and a few other college and NBAers.
And if you know anything about Kobe, you know his day probably started with a 4:30am workout. What a day!
