I was happy with who left, I thought that those two were the ones that would be going.

I knew as soon as Marquis finished his solo he would be the one gone. There was no dancing in that at all. It was trick after trick after trick and his transitions weren't good. Especially that one point where he kind of just stopped for a second and looked like he forgot what he was doing. Although the other two guys didn't do as many "great" things as Marquis did, they actually danced and had good solos. Nigel has said time and time again that doing all tricks won't get you anywhere so Marquis should have known that before he went out and did his solo.

I personally never felt that Danny's solos were not full of tricks. Not one of them, and the judges never commented on that. So to say that Danny was applauded for trick-filled solo's last season is a wrong statement IMO. As for Neil, yes in the beginning of the competition when he had to dance for his life his solos were chock full of tricks. But the judges DID say something to him. Multiple times actually, he wasn't praised like crazy for it. As the season went on though equaled out the tricks out with dancing and his transitions got much better. Then he was applauded, which is how it should be.

I'm not about to take sides with the judges because I do feel that they change the way they eliminate people on a week-to-week basis (and that drives me nuts) but ignoring the reasons that they gave I think the correct two people left. As much as I can't stand Comfort, she has overall done better then Susie. And Chelsea is definitely better then Suzie. Same thing with the guys. I did hate how Nigel said that Comfort stayed because of her performance in Shane's routine (because that's kind of like a luck of the draw type thing) but I believe that there was more behind the decision of her staying then he led us to believe.

I`m okay with Marquis going. I do understand what Nigel was saying about tricks. Now, a couple of tricks are fine, as we saw Neil and Danny showcase last season but doing trick after trick after trick without much purpose and flow in between just looks sloppy and ill prepared.
Yup. That's what I'm sayin' too.
