| I watched last night and IMO "Shrink Wrap" is sort of the defining episode of season one. The only problem I have with it is they tried to fit too much into one episode. We learn a lot about Dexter and he even makes a breakthrough about himself with the help of the psychiatrist. Rita also comes to terms with her relationship with both her husband and Dexter. Her kids are now "happy" about Dad returning. The Ice Truck Killer is revealed. In the entire episode we sort of lose sight of the Dr. Meridian story and why he chose to encourage those successful women to kill themselves. I have a feeling there was a lot of film left on the cutting room floor from that episode. Maybe "Shrink Wrap" should have been a two parter in order to get all the stories out. |
