even though i shipped cangel from the very beginning, i really loved that they became friends then best friends first. so in hind sight i would have liked thier friendship to start developing in the buffy years first a mutual understanding cause even before the angelus period angel was an outsider just like cordy and as much as i hated bangel and cander both of those still probably needed to happen because at the time niether angel nor cordy were ready for a mature relationship) by the end season of s3, they would have had a definite friendship, angel relizing his growing feelings for cordy and the lessening of feeling for buffy but since he doesn't want a repeat performance of angelus to happen with cordy and realizing that buffy needs to move on with his life he leaves for la after graduation only telling buffy he is leaving, meanwhile the stuff with cordy's parents and the reasons for her ending up in la remain the same (only difference she is going to miss her best friend she doesn't tell angel what is going on (cause lets face it even in ats years she hid her problems and he was her best friend then so it is not ooc or surprising that she would not tell angel what happened or that she is leaving, but she vows to herself that once she is settled and on her feet she will call him and explain). i loved the way they met in la wouldn't change that at all but both or a little upset that the other didn't tell him/her that she/he was leaving sunnydale. anyway i would have had them both realizing that thier growing feelings by at least the last part of season 1 if not admitting them (in cordy's case because she think he is a no bone and still in love with buffy and angel being angel thinking he has nothing to offer her and thinking she could never love a vampir like that (or something along these lines) and both afraid of losing thier best friend. in s2 i don't mind the beige period esp too much and not sure if i would do the baby connor arc or not, the groo thing would not have went down like it did although i am not saying i would not have him showing up because mark lutz is a cuttie and the only reason i didn't like groo was because of the cordgygroo relationship and what happened in s4 and s5 really caused me to hate it because it was at the end of witw the show started going down hill and a lot of that was in correlation to groo/cordy

Whew i think this is the longest post i have ever made and sorry to ramble on
