Emmett, Edward's playful bear of a brother, I did miss. He was in many ways just like the big brother I'd always wanted...only much, much more terrifying.
Twilight
E to B: "Eerie, isn't it?", Emmett said with easy familiarity, winking at me.

B: "You take me back. I tell my dad I want to go home to Phoenix. I pack my bags. We wait till this tracker is watching, and then we run. He'll follow us and leave Charlie alone. Charlie won't call the FBI on your family. Then you can take me any damned place you want."
E: "It's not a bad idea, really."

B: "Emmett?" I asked, looking pointedly at my hands.
E: "Oh, sorry."
----------
B: "And you'll make it look like that's a ruse, obviously. He'll know that we'll know that he's listening. He'll never believe I'm actually going where I say I am going."
E: "She's diabolical."

Emmett reached over to help me get out of the harness.
E: "Don't worry, Bella. We'll take care of things here quickly."
I felt moisture filling up my eyes as I looked at Emmett. I barely knew him, and yet, somehow, not knowing when I would see him again after tonight was anguishing.

E: "You haven't changed at all. I expected a perceptible difference, but here you are, red-faced just like always.”
B : “Thanks a lot, Emmett.”
E: “I have to step out for a second…Don’t do anything funny while I’m gone.”
B: “I’ll try.”

B: “Thanks, Emmett!” I called more loudly.
I heard his booming laugh from my truck, and I couldn’t help laughing too.

B: “Emmett?”
E: “Hell, yes! We can find some other way to pick a fight with Demetri.”

Eclipse
E: I’m really glad Edward didn’t kill you. Everything’s so much more fun with you around.”

E: “Fall down again, Bella?”
B: “No, Emmett. I punched a werewolf in the face.”
*Emmett bursts into a roar of laughter*

E: “Hey, Edward. Ditching, Bella?” He grinned at me.

B: Maybe because those lights left the room dim and mysterious. Not an atmosphere to make your average human feel relaxed when standing next to someone like Emmett. I saw Emmett grin at Mike over the food table, the red lights gleaming off his teeth, and watched Mike take an automatic step back.

B: They’d all reassured me;…Emmett laughing boisterously and asking why I was the only one who was allowed to fight with werewolves…

B: I giggled. “That does sound better.” It wouldn’t feel very official if Emmett read the vows, which was a plus. But I’d have a hard time keeping a straight face.

Breaking Dawn
E: "You're monopolizing the bride. Let me dance with my little sister. This could be my last chance to make her blush."

E: "Did ya get in a couple of good swipes?"
B: "No! Of course not."
E: "No, not really? You really didn't attack him?"
B: "Emmett!"
E: "Aw, what a waste. And here you're probably the one person who could take him - since he can't get in your head to cheat - and you had a perfect excuse too. I've been dying to see how he'd do without that advantage."

3. Because the image of them having an arm wrestling match after she changes is hilarious

5. Because he would stand up to Alice for what Bella wants for the wedding

7. Because "Hell, Yes!" he wants her to join the family!
