"In somewhat of a surprise announcement from Warner, the studio has set 'Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete First Season' for Blu-ray release on August 19th. Debuting day-and-date with the DVD version, this Blu-ray edition will feature all nine, hour-long episodes from the show's strike-shortened first season. Audio and video specs have not yet been revealed, but it's a safe bet that Warner will be utilizing VC-1 for the set's video encode. Expect all the same supplements on Blu-ray as are present on the DVD edition.
