| I can understand why he killed himself. I mean, it sounds good on paper to hone Dexter into a vigilante crime fighter, but when he actually saw Dex chopping up a body (and HAPPY!), it made him devastated, like he had made a giant mistake. I think it was a reasonable reaction.
But leaving Brian covered in blood in the cargo container? That was cruel. Like DiagonalZipper said, he didn't have to take him in, but at least help him out of there or something?
I have to say, even though it sucks that Dexter's mentor turns out to be an ass, what with having affairs with informants and stuff, I like how it makes Dexter question the code he's been given by him. __________________ chapter five: showdown at the house of blue leaves
