| I have to say, that LP scene was the most beautiful scene I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot, since this season, they've had quite a few memorable moments. But I guess this meant so much more because we actually got some honesty and openness from Lucas. It was so simple, yet so beautiful, so sincere and so well acted. It was...perfect. I cried watching it and for the first time in what seems like forever I didn't want to murder him. My heart dropped when he said, "It was hard letting you go, Peyton... you know. It was hard losing ya, and it was hard seeing you again. And it's still really hard." I was bawling. I loved how she nodded and whispered, "I know, I know," while he just nodded back. And it's like they didn't need to say anything else, because they both understood so perfectly what both of them meant to each other and how tragic the whole situation was. It was bittersweet, so heartfelt and authentic. |
