What do you remember from season 1? how groundbreaking it was. looking back, how innocent and pure the show was in its intial stages. i love every season is different ways, but season one is set apart. it has a different feeling from the rest.
Who was your favourite when you first watched? in season one, i was captivated by Dawson & Joey's friendship. but really everyone. everyone right down to the supporting cast nailed it. to quote Katie years later during the finale taping--it was "magic".
What made the show stand out back then? so many things, but cinematically is was just breathtaking. so painstakingly and beautifully filmed like no other show.
