Yes he'd have been angry and hurt but in the end I don't think he would have stood in their way. But as it was, Pacey and Joey snuck around and hurt everyone in the process. Anyway, this isn't the place for this 
I  Season One because for me, this was when the characters were at their best. We had the magic of D/Jo and the D/P friendship. I also think the writing was at it's strongest here too. Some great stuff in the episodes and It's great to watch a time when it wasn't about love triangles, it was about friendship. The D/Jo/Jen triangle was interesting though but it wasn't nearly as vicious as the Season 3 Triangle. __________________
