| What do you remember from season 1?
In six words: the show was at its best.
And I vividly remember the DJ will-they-won't-they thing throughout the whole season. It was written so much better in the beginning.
I remember not liking Jen trying to get Dawson back once she realized he'd fallen for Joey too. Seemed very self-centred and devious of her.
Who was your favourite when you first watched?
Pacey probably. Actually I think Joey was written really well in the first season.
What made the show stand out back then?
Its originality. And the whole DJ friendship with a something-more subtlety to it. The instant chemistry between the core cast members.
What did you love?
The Dawson-Pacey friendship was at an all-time high in the first season. I like looking back and remembering that because the triangle in the later seasons almost destroyed it completely. |
