| What do you remember from season 1? Everything (I'm like Pacey, haha). I remember that the credits were in yellow and that Pacey loved Joey. I remember how Dawson's room look like the inside of a ship to me in the pilot and then it brightened up a bit and wasn't so closed it. I remember that Mitch was the best looking dad I had ever seen and I wanted him to be my friend's dad (haha). I remember not liking Joey in the beauty pageant because I hated that it took her changing for Dawson to realize that she was pretty. I remember thinking that I could like Dawson and Joey together if Joey was happy. I remember that Bodie was different in the first episode and being so surprised when Joey and Bessie said "orgasmic" (I was a little kid!). I remember thinking Miss Jacobs was pretty but she reminded me of Jen. I also remember being so confused about what the mascot of the school was because sometimes they would be in blue/yellow halls and there would be minutemen and other times they would be in orange/black halls and they would be wildcats. Apparently I need to stop myself because I have too much to say.
Who was your favourite when you first watched? Joeyyyyy (Pacey too but Joey was my number one because I want to be her)
What made the show stand out back then? It was different. It had an actor from the town next to mine. It had my favorite Duck, Joshua Jackson. The cast was beautiful. They had real lives, it wasn't overdramatic all the time. They went to school and work.
What did you love? Everything, for the most part. It would be easier to list some things I didn;t like, but I won't. I loved the episode, Kiss, when Joey pretends top be Deborah Carson because she was doing something fantastic away from Dawson. And I love Double Date because Pacey kisses Joey. I also like Roadtrip because Joey and Jen are friends. Heck, I like all the episodes. I wish I remembered how I felt watching them the first time. By now, I've seen them all so much I just remember always loving them. I wonder if that is the truth. |
