Dancer, I have to agree with Pandora on this one. To me that scene just showed us that Cameron doesn't need him in her life but that doesn't mean that she doesn't want him.
I think they're now on a more even ground, this way they have better chance of happening because it makes them equals. I don't think that Cameron is gone, that she stopped caring for him, she just realized that there's a life without him.
