| BA, I didn't realize you and McHusband met online! How cool is that. I know the former head of Fanforum (now over at That Other Place) met his wife that way and it worked out for them (also complete with baby boy). I always think if you know someone online, you get to know the 'inner person' so well.
Happy Anniversary! Mr ML and I are coming up on 29 anniversary and been together something like 32 years! It goes by so fast!
I hope my son meets somebody there, because heaven knows, he doesn't spend his time anywhere else! Oh well, Maggie assures me that guys like him are just late bloomers and will suddenly surprise us with a woman in his life one of these days. LOL, he was wondering if instead of getting a new job, he should 'write' - but since in the 27 years I've known him, he hasn't written anything, I suggested he get a new job and do writing in his spare time!
Hmm, do you think I quashed his budding creative spirit?
Orange kitties named for Scottish soda pop sound very cute.
I used to really like making bread too (also without a machine), but my Atkins diet years sort of took the joy out of carbs.
Also had forgotten about your awful back injury - my (lady) boss had that happen - took a terrible fall, was laid up and off work for 2 months, bones weren't knitting up well, and still has troubles with pain, and the pain meds made her ill. I think she's finding some help with acupuncture now. Wish you well! Pain is, well, a pain!
Mr ML said he won't go see any more Tom Cruise movies because of the scientology weirdness. Although I heard he has a brief cameo in some movie that we were thinking about seeing, and I don't think that counts! LOL! Of course now I can't remember which movie it was.
Kids want to take me out to eat (and to see "Iron Man") for Mother's Day - I just have to pick the place.
I think the news about the guys' losing their job soon would freak me out worse if I hadn't been dreading it for months now - it was obviously coming but they refused to see it or worry about it or do anything before it actually happened. I know there is no point to worrying, but there is some point in taking action before something inevitable and bad occurs! ahem! Glad I didn't plan to go to the 'Moonlight' fan convention in LA end of this month. Glad I tucked some $ away and didn't finish renovating my kitchen as much as I'd hoped to also. SIGH!
When you are married to a grasshopper, you have to be the ant and put things away for that rainy day!
Rainy Thursday here today. And the Evil Chapter is still lurking on my desk...
Glad I didn't quit yesterday! __________________ Jason B is #1 with me "I'm with the vampires" |
