I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet Scott's artwork is not mimicking David Duchovny's charity painting technique. (Even though the thought of Scott bare butt could sell a lot of paintings.)
| Whoa! Tarty - I missed that one! (I'm emitting a long, low whistle!) Was that performance art or a "new and improved" printmaking method?! There's one for the X-files.....
It's the first time I recall SP mentioning his own artwork - but for some reason it does not surprise me. He seems to have a certain flourish when he signs his name (not necessarily correlated to someone who can draw - but often it is - esp. in guys - imho!) We've known for a long time that he's written more than 500 songs - that's an intense extent of creativity. It's a very positive release of energy, I guess ... and a little easier on the body than boxing (!) - that is, unless he's doing ceramics! Wouldn't put it past him to be doing some unusual mixed media........
The only other thing I'd love to see him do is live theatre - but that's a total 100%+ commitment and doesn't given him national exposure. Well - maybe after one of his film projects takes off!!!!! That would be such a blast! I'd travel to the ends of the earth (well, nearly!) to see him live on-stage!
Yesterday's mystery = how he manages to have perfect hands (everyone who's met him remarks that they are soft, clean, perfect) ... today I'm back to wondering how he finds the time to do half the stuff he does - even if he only does any one activity in short sprints. Methinks the man doesn't sleep much....
SPA - 2 small caveats about Bousmann releasing Scott's Repo audition footage: was SP really good? ... and does he want it out there? If yes and yes, I'm all in! (Reminds me - GG dropped this ball ... Maybe with Aliens when there's a DVD, they'll include some outtakes?! I'd love to see SP outtakes!!!) __________________ "Changes in societal structure and in art would possess more credibility if they had their origins in the soul and spirit.
