| I do think there was some effort on the part of the writers to make her more central to the group than the length of her relationship with them really warranted. If you compare the episodes following "You're Welcome" to the episode where Fred died and the ones after, there's definitely a much larger and more dramatic reaction from all of the characters to Fred's death. That's carried over to the comics where the loss of Fred is Angel's reason for fighting and the only mention of Cordy so far is Connor's memory of sleeping with her. |
