| According to About.com (a bit of a dubious source IMHO), the movie is now in production:

Focus Features announced production has just begun on Sam Mendes' as of yet untitled comedy. The Office star John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph, and Toni Collette are confirmed to star in the film which was scripted by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida.
According to Focus Features, Mendes' latest project follows a young couple who are expecting their first child as they travel around the United States looking for just the right community in which to raise a family.
Jeff Daniels, Carmen Ejogo, Jim Gaffigan, Cheryl Hines, Allison Janney, Melanie Lynskey, Chris Messina, Kevin J O’Connor, Catherine O’Hara, and Paul Schneider are also part of Mendes' cast. The behind the scenes team includes director of photography Ellen Kuras, production designer Jess Gonchor, editor Sarah Flack and costume designer John Dunn.
