I so agree with you! I always had yellow in my mind, not too bright, but even more a light green. Idk why, it just screams Blake for me. ^^ I think I'd absolutely love a light green, yes.
also, nothing too girly, I'd say. the Chad MM board is pink, and I dont know, I'm definitely not the only one who doesnt like the colors that much. 
so we all agree on nothing dark? woo!
