YOU GUYS I MUST BE IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW.
Okay. Now that I've gotten that over with, I'll go into details about my day. So. First I got up at like, 4:30 because I had to leave by 5:20 in order to be at Madison High School by 5:45 (I ended up being fifteen minutes early but whatever, I was one of the first in line to get checked in, awesome). So after being checked in, I was sent to the auditorium, where we all kind of hung out, waiting for all the extras and stand-ins and whatnot to be accounted for. Then we started going into makeup and wardrobe. Wardrobe was first. I had to change out of my blue sweater because apparently the Cullens were in blue (which they weren't, they were all in grey and white; 'cept Edward, he's a rebel and was in mostly black) so I had to change into a brown one. Which is okay because as long as I'm in the shot I don't really care what they put me in. Anyway. Then into hair and makeup, where they mostly just smoothed out my curls a bit and touched up makeup and whatnot. So by the time this was done it was about 8. Then this guy comes in and is like, "I need ten kids with jackets," and I grabbed my jacket and stood right up, and I got to go out and walk back and forth outside the cafeteria for a bit-- but it was like, hailing and raining, which was weird. But okay. Then during one scene Mike (who is ADORABLE OMG OMG) kept leaning out the door to talk to us, and he was all cute and shy and silly and I seriously love that boy now. But then anyway. And then while we were out there the Cullens (minus an Edward) were all lining up for their cues, and so we got to see them for the first time-- and I just have to say that any doubts I had about them have been completely cleared. They are a perfect cast. Absolutely incredible. Kellan, who plays Emmett, apparently really likes hardboiled eggs, so he was carrying a bag of them around with him constantly, and he kept asking people if they wanted to hold his eggsack. Emmett absolutely killed me, he was so funny. Then later we went inside and filmed at tables-- and I got a good seat, behind Bella's table, so hopefully I'll get some facetime. 8DDD Anyway. Then we kind of did that for a while. Things get fuzzy at this point because there was so much going on. But there was surprisingly little sitting around and waiting-- for being there 12 and a half hours, I was busy about 4/5 of the time, it was amazing. Some things I remember though were that at one point Emmett came to sit at our table, and we started playing tic-tac-toe, and I totally kicked his ass. It was so great. Then we offered him a stale chip from our prop lunches and he took it, smiled mischievously, and was like, "Ooooh, I'm saving this for later," and tucked it away. He was seriously so cute. And when he came to sit down it was when they were prepping for a shot, and he was like, "Heehee, I wonder how long it will take them to notice I'm in the shot," and he was so giggly and adorable and saldfhsoifesf I wanted to just squeeze him. And it was so funny because the Cullens would improv scenes at their lunch table, and at one point they were talking about what they could do with Bella since she was such a distraction to Edward, and Jasper was like, "Maybe we could just kill her or something," and Rosalie got all excited and was like, "Sounds good to me!" SO FUNNY. And Edward was all smiley and giggly and cute. And it's amazing how in-character they are. Like, Rosalie and Emmett were cuddling and canoodling all day, and same with Alice and Jasper-- even off-camera, they were just so cute together. And they joked around so much. It was awesome. One thing that they'd done for the movie costume-wise that I thought was cool even though it was nowhere in the books-- apparently they've added a Cullen Crest (for lack of a better word) and all the Cullens wear it-- Emmett and Edward (and maybe Jasper but I didn't really get to see) have it on a wristband, Rosalie has it as a necklace, and Alice is wearing it as a ring. I didn't get a very good look at it but it is such a cool effect.
PLUS THEY LOOK FRICKEN AMAZING OMG.
Oh and I just remembered that in one scene they were improvising, Jasper and Rosalie were arguing about marriage or something. Jasper was like, "Alice and I were only married once, that was enough for us," and Rosalie was like, "Well I don't care Emmett and I are getting married again this summer. Alice, you can plan our wedding." And Alice was just like "YAY" and lasdfjasodif they are so cute.
Seriously, I do not think this movie could have been casted better. I am so in love with everyone in it."
