Another detailed account from Kiki on Kellan.fan-sites.org:

Quote:
Day one was pretty crazy. I woke up at 5 AM and arrived on set at 6 AM. Once on set I checked in at the area where we would later have lunch and then ate breakfast, which was rather nice, I might add. We waited there for about 10 minutes and were then moved to the school auditorium. First we went through wardrobe - you will find me in a green coat over a purple hoodie and grey undershirt. If you want the specifics. Then I went straight to hair and makeup. I was told I was fine for makeup, so then I just had to wait to go through hair. I ended up being one of the last people waiting, and during that time the extras were called to set so it was pretty rushed, but that lady can work some magic!

Once we arrived to the hall where the biology class was around the corner, we were told to line up against the wall and keep quiet because the principal actors were doing rehearsals for the scene. There were doubles for almost everyone today, including Rob and Kristen's usual doubles. The scene that was filmed is supposed to take place on day nine, which is also the day of the crash scene(kids that were in Kalama had to be dressed and styled exactly as they were last week). This is the scene where Edward speaks to Bella for the first time, and they do the onion root tip lab. I heard some of the dialogue, and they're definitely trying to play up the comedy with the Forks kids, which I think is great. The actor playing Mr. Molina(AKA Mr. Banner) is super nice and did an awesome job...very funny. I also heard some of Justin and Michael's dialogue, and the scene begins with Eric telling Bella about how he's on the prom committee and has been asked to do the music and wants to know if she wants to help. Sadly I couldn't hear any of Bella's dialogue, but I was near the sound/viewing station, and she definitely had the whole Bella shyness thing going on. There's also a line that I think Mike says to the effect of "wassup Arizona, how you a-likin tha rain?!". Yeah, I don't know what was going on after that point haha. I first saw Michael Welch, Justin Chon, and then Kristen. Kristen is really pretty in real life, but TINY. She's even smaller in person. Michael Welch is pretty hilarious. Before every shot he was dancing around, and one time Justin was like "man why do you keep dancing each time?" or something to that effect. Justin and Mike seem to be pretty good buddies. A few minutes later Rob came out for a makeup touch up and to put some eye drops in. He looks AMAZING! He has definitely matured since his Harry Potter days. He is also pretty tall and not as skinny as the Kalama pictures make him look.

After about two rehearsals one of the PAs came over to us and seemed to choose a few of us at random to be in rehearsals(they definitely went with minorities and then chose white kids). Then after about two more rehearsals he picked a few more. Finally there were only about 10 of us left, myself included. We soon found out that instead of being in the actual biology classroom, we would just be students in the hallway. We were all a little bummed, but we still got to do some stuff. The main thing was that we never really knew what was going on, and no one had told us that we wouldn't all be in the actual classroom. Pretty much everything today was extremely disorganized, but I blame it on the fact that it was a new location, new scenes, and a super small space(we might as well have been walking on top of each other). When it finally came time to begin shooting, the PAs organized us and told us where to go and that they would give us a push when it was time. I did several different crosses directly behind Bella, Eric, and Mike about 3 seconds after the scene begins - I walked to the lockers, then straight across the hall, and then straight across and then back again to the side of the door. We filmed this 15 second segment about 10 times. Once this part was finished, we headed back to the auditorium where we would wait for about 10 minutes before going back again. This time I wasn't paying any attention to what was going on in the scene, but I will be standing in the hall looking at a sign about prom with another girl and then walk to the side. We did this one only 4 or 5 times. The entire scene took about 10 hours to shoot. I think it's safe to say that they are definitely behind.

We headed back to the auditorium, and the PA told us that he needed 15 of us to record some "dialogue" with Mr. Molina. We were led to a classroom across the hall from the bio class...and there we waited for about an hour. They were still filming other stuff, and finally the PA came in and told us it was time for lunch, but to go back to the auditorium first. We waited in the auditorium for almost 20 minutes. Finally he came back in and asked us if we had all had lunch yet. Umm, no. So he sent us to lunch, which we only had 15 minutes left for now. All of the stand-ins except for Rob and Kristen's were sitting at a table with Michael Welch and Justin Chon. At one point Michael Welch was talking to someone, and then turned around and walked into the wall. Pretty great. As I rounded the corner, I almost ran into Rob who was at the first food line. Once again, he looked great and I got a really good look at his eyes - they're pretty awesome! I also got to hear his British accent when he said something to another extra. I saw Kristen and was right across from her the whole time I was in the salad line. She seems pretty quiet, but really nice. She sat down at a table with Rob and her stand-in, Katie.

After this there is not much more to report, except that we were pretty much waiting for about 3 hours when they finally told us we had wrapped for the day and that we needed to be back tomorrow the same time again - 6 AM. All in all, I was there for a little over 12 hours. The cafeteria was supposed to begin filming tomorrow, but it was canceled once again. It will be filming Thursday and Friday, we hope - I'm dying to see the rest of Cullens, especially Emmett! Tomorrow we will be going through about 3 or 4 days, so I should get a better idea of the scenes then. Oh, also today I met up with a cafeteria extra and another girl who had been cast but then dropped as an extra, and they wanted to wait around since filming was about to completely wrap for the day and try to catch a glimpse of Rob. Well, the bio classroom extras start slowly coming out, and I looked to my left and lo and behold, there is Robert sprinting across the school grounds in the rain towards his trailer. Honestly, it was kind of hilarious...he has a rather unusual run(I love you, Rob!).

A few extra things:
-Our Tyler is really awesome! He is very chill and looks completely different (in a good way) than in the Kalama pictures. He actually hung out with the stand ins and us extras while we were in the other classroom. At one point he was trying to hack into the school computers since they were password-protected. Also, some of the boys brought skateboards to set (WTF?) and were riding them down the aisle of the auditorium. Well, Tyler jumps on one and starts going down the aisle at full speed and then SLAMS into this black cloth thing that is in front of some lighting right before the stage. HILARIOUS!
-Justin Chon and Mike Welch really are as nice as people say - they just hang with whoever and don't really care.

Also - I have solid proof and confirmation concerning the hotel that the cast are staying in. I have absolutely no intention of going to the hotel and looking for the cast, and I will also not disclose the name of the hotel for their privacy. It might influence where we eat dinner for the rest of the week, though Wink

No sight of Kellan yet, probably because I don't think he shoots until the cafeteria scenes. I am slightly nervous because there will be over 100 extras for those scenes, and it might be tricky trying to catch him. I will try, though. I have been keeping the scrapbook on my person all the time. I actually think he already knows about this, so hopefully he'll be watching out for me when he's not busy being Emmett.

That's it for tonight guys - get some sleep (or good morning!). I will update again tomorrow night, and it shouldn't be as late this time since I don't think we will get as sidetracked after wrapping.
