I think that they both are great actors. Maybe they "hook up" when the show ends.
Scott said once in a talk show, don´t remember which one, but it was in 2002, when asked when he and Lorelai will finally get together:
"Oh, you mean on the show?".
What´s that supposed to mean, Scott????
