She tells him she is sure its' what she wants just like in the side. We won't hear what she is sure of... but in the BP scene she'll tell Peyton she wants a baby and the look Peyton has is the same one Lucas had when she told him about it.

So there is no sperm storyline. She wanted a baby and she wanted to adopt. And that is what she did.
